The boys and girls lacrosse teams have been on an exciting playoff run and will be playing tonight. The boys will be playing at home against Topsail at 6 p.m. tonight, while the girls will be playing at Fuquay tonight at 6 p.m.

After having a bye in the first round, the boys took on Cary and won that game 19-0. Next, they went against Heritage in the third round and won 18-0. In the fourth, they played Ashley and won 18-5. Now the Crusaders will get a chance to advance to the state championship game tonight against Topsail

Players to look for in the boys game tonight include Peter Dolan, Cody Cartwright, Luke Conly, and Robbie Jonske. All of whom have been phenomenal players throughout the season, and have made big-time plays in the playoffs.

The girls team also had a bye in the first round. Going into the second round, they were able to take down Sanderson 19-3. They played Wake Forest in the third round and won that game 21-6. They then played New Hanover in the fourth round and won 22-16.

Some of the girls to look out for in tonight’s game include Jane Bailey Ward, Chloe Tupis, Addie Brown, and Claire Kimel. All of which are playing outstanding and are making huge plays while being important for the team.
