The girls soccer team was on a mission this year: improve from last season and avenge their early playoff loss.
They exceeded their goal and entered the playoffs as the No. 1 seed. During their playoff run they won big to put themselves into the position to play Heritage. Heritage is known as one of the top teams in the state and the Crusaders knew that this would be a tough game.
The girls played hard all game focused on their goal, but ultimately fell short losing 2-0.
While this loss is heartbreaking to many, there is so much to celebrate about this team. The girls went undefeated in-conference, beat top teams, and earned the No.1 seed, while maintaining a (19-0) record.
If this was not enough, the team has many college commits to play at the next level and they have many returners who will be extraordinary leaders.
Every playoff loss is a tough one, but this team is one that will be remembered for a long time.
