The girls soccer team has impressed many as they have knocked off some top teams in the state en route to a conference championship victory. After losing only one tough game against Myers Park, the girls are looking to make a statement in the playoffs.
After being named the No. 1 seed in the east, they will play Riverside in the second round. The first round took place on May 11, the second will be on May 14, the third May 18, and the fourth on May 21. Regionals will be on May 26, and the state championship will be held between May 28-30 at Durham County Memorial Stadium.
