The baseball team moves on to the third round after a 11-2 blowout against Cary. In their third meeting of the season, the boys completed the sweep against Cary winning three out of three games.
The boys hit the ball well with 10 hits and added on two home runs by Graham Virag and Bryce Fitzsimmons. Cam Tarkenton earned the win on the mound pitching 5.2 innings and striking out 11 batters.
Next round the team will play the No. 11 seed Cleveland Rams on Friday who they played in the first game of the season. The boys won that game 10-3 and hope for that same result this time around.
The winner on Friday will play the winner of South Central and Heritage.
The boys hope to extend their historic season even further on Friday.
