With prom right around the corner, many are doing final checks to make sure they will shine for the unforgettable night. Dresses have been bought, dinner reservations have been made, and transportation has been settled. With that being said, here are some last-minute tips and tricks to help your magical night go off without a hitch!

Number 1: Charged Phone

Prom is a busy night, especially if you have plans with a group. Before the festivities begin, make sure to fully charge your phone for optimal picture-taking!

Number 2: Extra Deodorant

Let’s be real, hundreds of dancing bodies in the same room are bound to sweat. Before you go, make sure to reapply deodorant and use your best perfume or cologne.

Number 3: Corsage and Boutonniere

Going with a date? Pick up flowers for your designated partner! Not only is it a touching gesture, but it’ll also help the two of you stand out as a couple.

Number 4: Photos

Capture your fit at its finest! If you haven’t already done so, scout a location for you and your friends to take the perfect photos to remember the night and the makeup you slaved over!

Number 5: Nails

Hey girls, don’t overlook your nails! From hair to shoes, everyone wants to dazzle on this night. Go that extra mile and make sure your nails match your style.

Number 6: Finalize Accessories

The buzz for the past few months has been dresses, dresses, dresses. Make sure to gather and finalize your accessories and lay them out with the rest of your outfit for that final touch!

Number 7: Breath Mints & Gum

A delicious meal isn’t complete without gum or a mint to follow up. If you want to be extra safe, bring some extra to have after your fair share of snacks.

Number 8: Hydrate

Don’t let the excitement of the night distract you from what’s important! Drink lots of water both before and during prom to avoid overheating.

Number 9: Hair & Safety Pins

Let’s face it, there are bound to be a few wardrobe malfunctions! Be proactive and grab some extra safety pins and bobby pins in case you or a friend needs to make a last-minute fix on the dance floor.

Number 10: Rest!

Push your worries aside and get a good night’s rest. No matter how much you’ve prepared, it’s the people who will make this night memorable. Let yourself relax and sleep well so you can enjoy this night to the fullest.
