Bishop Luis Rafael has spoken!
At all school mass a few weeks ago, Bishop Luis visited and gave a homily to the school.
At the end of the service, he gave Gibbons a gift.
A free day!
There have been a few times in Gibbons history where a bishop has given a day off after coming to visit the school and mass, but it hasn’t happened in a long time.
Since the bishop oversees all of the schools in the diocese, if they declare we have a free day, we do!
So get excited for no school on Friday, February 14!
