Boys Lacrosse
The boys lacrosse team looks to build on a regular season this Friday against Hoggard.
The Crusaders went 19-2 during the season, with a perfect 10-0 record in conference play.
Seniors Zach Kerner, Justin Conly, and Jackson Cooling led the Crusaders to the top team in the state. Zach Kerner led the team in goals with 64, and Justin Conly had 81 assists, which was 4th in the country.
Girls Lacrosse
The girls lacrosse team is also getting ready for the NCHSAA 4A playoffs.
The Crusaders went 13-5 and also dominated the Cap-6 Conference with a 10-0 record.
Seniors Lexi Mullahay, Ella Grimes, and Hayden Miller led the way as the Crusaders finished the season ranked first in the HighSchoolOT rankings. Mullahay led the team in goals, scoring 48 times and while also having 34 assists.
After being seeded as the fifth seed in the East due to RPI calculations, the girls look to assert their dominance against New Hanover.
