Fishing Club

The fishing club has been a constant at Gibbons for many years. Headed by Mr. Curatolo the club regularly hosted excursions to Umstead Lake in order to set the record for the biggest fish caught or to clean out a local stream as part of their conservation effort. In past years the club has started setting records; becoming international when Curatolo packed his travel fishing rod on the annual Gibbons Italy trip and pulled a fish out of the Tiber River in Rome. The club set a new record this year however with a sponsored trip to Wilmington NC for kayak fishing, they also made a trip to Martinsville Virginia for their first ever river trout fishing trip in December. With these new additions the club is rapidly expanding, and they are planning even bigger things for next year.

If you would like to get involved for next year, contact moderator Mr. Curatolo in his office to the right of the attendance office.
