Gibbons Friends

Despite only beginning late in the 2021-2022 school year, Gibbons Friends has quickly created one of the most outstanding clubs in our school. The club’s basis is to support and help those with special needs and they have taken a rather fun approach. Gibbons Friends works directly with the employees of 3 2 1 Coffee, a local store in downtown Raleigh which employs and supports those with special needs. The day after our school-wide Snow Ball in December, Gibbons Friends hosted a second one, providing those with special needs their own dance to remember. With the same organization they hosted a Spring Fling in late April, providing a day of outdoor fun and games. Gibbons Friends has set the stage and their work this year has been truly fun to watch.
